User-Centered Design Consultant

The Opportunity:

You will be joining a vibrant team focused on delivering as a User-Centered Design Consultant that will see you embark on a thrilling journey consulting alongside a range of agile cross-functional squads, where you will utilise your expertise in User Centered Design (UCD) and User Experience (UX) will shape ground-breaking digital transformation projects across a spectrum of vital digital services used by the general public to deliver a real positive impact on society.

In this role, you will be designing and improving the end-to-end journey of the services and products, typically focusing on the User-Centered Design across multiple touchpoints, where you'll develop strong bonds with clients and stakeholders through a transparent and consultative approach, crafting enriching experiences that leave users positively captivated.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience within a UCD team either within a consultancy, agency or in-house and wanting exposure to working across a suite of cross-functional projects
• Expertise within more than one UCD discipline including user research, interaction design, service design, content design or UX design
• Proven track record in developing user journeys, service maps and blueprints, with a strong grasp of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Experience facilitating workshops and co-design sessions for collaboration with colleagues and senior client stakeholders in fast-paced, agile environments
• Strong work planning and time management abilities, with skills in balancing conflicting deadlines and priorities
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline
