Role Description:

We are seeking a talented VBA Developer with expertise in Visual Basic for Applications, particularly in designing complex macros, and experience in related technologies such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL.

The ideal candidate will support and enhance internal systems processes by developing efficient VBA applications and macros, integrating various systems, and ensuring seamless communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize VBA applications and complex macros to automate and support internal business processes.
• Create and manage macros to streamline data processing and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Integrate different systems and applications to improve departmental communication.
• Program within the Clarity software suite to meet specific business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VBA-related issues, focusing on macro functionality, to maintain smooth system performance.

Required Skills:

• 5 + years commercial experience as a Developer or Software Engineer.

• Strong expertise in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) development, with a focus on macro creation and automation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex macros and data manipulation.
• Experience with Microsoft Access and SQL for database management and data analysis.
• Understanding of software integration and data flow optimization.
• Familiarity with the Clarity software suite (desirable but not essential).
• Ability to work independently as a developer.
• Creating documentation.
• Dealing with and explaining technical jargon to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or C#.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Having previously worked on bespoke inhouse systems and software
