Engineering Level 3 Technical Support Technician apprentice - Test Team

Role
Technical support technician. Duties will be as follows:
- Testing and characterisation of power semiconductor devices
- Building test circuits for power semiconductors
- Testing power electronic assemblies
- Reliability testing of power semiconductor device
Training
- Training given at Wilson Tools during daily role as well as attending taught sessions at New College Swindon
Mandatory Qualifications:
After a period of foundation skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:
- Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
After a further period of skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) - Technical Suppor
- Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) - for all starts from 1st July 2017
Progression to full Technical Support Engineer.
