Clinical Education Fellow Digital
Job summary
Imperial College School of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Clinical Teaching Fellow (Digital) to work with the Leadership Team to support the delivery of our digital learning strategy.
Main duties of the job
* To work closely with Head of School of Medicine, Phase 3 Director and Digital Development Lead for Phase 3, Course Leads (e.g. Medicine, Surgery, Pathology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Imperial College London 3 Gynaecology) and the School of Medicine Digital Learning team to ensure successful delivery of the digital learning course to students. * To use educational expertise and evidence-based approach to improve the student experience, by supporting the design and delivery of an innovative blended learning course. Specifically, the postholder will be expected to: * Be familiar with the basic principles of online pedagogy, i.e. appreciate which approaches work online in contrast with classroom delivery. * Coordinate and participate in the planning, scoping, design, development and delivery of online digital content, including project management responsibilities. * Contribute to the design, development and delivery of online digital content and mixed reality content, including authoring, sourcing and curating content, and coordinating the contributions of other content authors. * Be creative, collaborative and adaptable in an agile digital landscape and have a willingness to contribute to innovations such as but not exclusively podcasting, virtual and augmented reality as well as more day-to-day digital learning and platforms.

- Fully registered with the General Medical Council with a licence to Practise (E)
- Have potential for and willingness to work towards appropriate professional
- recognition and accreditation e.g. Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy
- (HEA) (D)
- A Membership qualification or equivalent (D)
Experience
- n/a
- A demonstrable track record of teaching, supervising and assessing at undergraduate
- level using a variety of strategies(D)
- Experience of evaluation, critical enquiry and contribution to educational research (D)
- Experience in teaching/assessment innovation and the production of different
- learning materials, along with the associated administrative and management
