Power BI Developer/Analyst

Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - up to £500 per day

Duration: 3-month initial duration with highly probable extension to run for duration of 2025

Location: Birmingham, 1-2 days per week expectation

A well-established organization in Birmingham are looking for a Power BI Developer/Analyst Consultant to join them on an initial 3-month contract for a piece of work that will likely run for the duration of 2025. This role will play a key role in enhancing and optimising reporting solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, they will develop insightful dashboards and reports to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective solutions
• Utilise SQL and Excel for advanced data analysis and model optimization
• Ensure data accuracy and improve reporting processes

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX and data visualisation best practices
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and optimisation
• Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine reporting needs
• Experience in optimising and automating reporting processes
• Experience with PowerApps is beneficial but not essential

This role has been pre-determined outside IR35 with a day rate on offer of up to £500 per day. Initial contract duration will be 3 months, the process will be submissions no later than Monday 10th February with interviews taking place swiftly afterwards - immediate start is preferred but shorter notice periods can be accommodated. There is a need to be onsite in Birmingham 1-2 days per week.
