Apprentice Parts Tech - Masons Kings - Chudleigh
As an Apprentice Parts Tech you will be using John Deere’s sophisticated parts systems, run a profitable retail environment, merchandise goods effectively and understand the value of John Deere products and the importance of selling on quality rather than price.
Role
- Communicating across the business using a variety of methods including verbal and electronic communication
- Processing parts orders from internal and retail customers along with processing warranty returns
- Identifying specific components using electronic parts catalogue
- Processing transactions
- Supporting the dealer and your colleagues to carry out regular stock taking activities
- Marketing activities and promotional campaigns
Training
- Level 2 Retailer Standard qualification
- Functional Skills in maths & English (if required)
- Training consists of residential block release and online training sessions
- It is not uncommon for Parts Techs to progress through the ranks to become Parts Managers
