Flutter Developer - Remote (South Birmingham HQ)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Flutter-based mobile and desktop applications.
  • Collaborate on web-based systems to support data visualization and configuration.
  • Work closely with firmware developers to ensure secure data transmission and storage.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and maintain documentation for cross-platform applications.
  • Test, debug, and optimize Flutter applications for performance and scalability.
  • Enable remote configuration of connected devices through integrated applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align app and web development with the overall product goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Flutter for mobile and desktop application development.
  • Familiarity with backend systems and experience with APIs (RESTful and WebSocket, USB applications).
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and their integration with Flutter.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Understanding of real-time telemetry systems and data visualization tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IoT or remote device management systems.
  • Knowledge of telemetry systems and data visualization frameworks.
  • Prior experience in full-stack development for connected ecosystems.
