Network Architect

Role Title: Network Architect
Location: Onsite 4/5 days a week in Warwick, Farnborough, or Corsham
Duration:Until 30/09/24
Compensation: £660 per day (inside IR35)

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Network Solution Design Architect/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and building NSX-T services for workload domains within VMware Software Defined Datacentres (SDDC). This role includes the deployment of NSX Global Manager nodes to support NSX Federation across VMware Cloud Foundation instances.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deploy NSX Edge virtual appliances using SDDC Manager.
- Manage deployment and lifecycle using SDDC Manager workflows and NSX Manager.
- Implement automated password management via SDDC Manager.
- Utilize vSphere HA recovery across availability zones.
- Design Uplink Policies.
- Operate within the constraints of Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) Security Requirements.
- Provide design solutions within a Cloud-native environment that are cost-effective, secure, and compliant with standards for Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
- Develop High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and Build Scripts for Cisco NXOS underlay (excluding ACI), supporting an NSXT overlay, Virtual Network Microsegmentation, SDWAN Integration, and Network Packet Capture and Inspection.
- Conduct testing and report results.
