Position Overview

As the public face of the IT Department, the Service Centre provides essential support to various schools within the area. The role provides the opportunity to work within a multi-site situation and develop new skills on the job whilst providing fantastic customer service.

Responsibilities

* Manage and assist with school visits and IT service tickets.
* Independently resolve tickets and support other engineers.
* Maintain a high level of technical knowledge.
* Lead by example in key technical areas.
* Write high-quality procedures and client communications.
* Manage project tickets, including planning, monitoring, and completion.
* Act as an escalation point for schools and assist colleagues in troubleshooting.
Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills and personal qualities
* Possess a full clean driving license.
* Familiarity with school MIS systems is preferred.
* Experience with integrating 3rd party applications with school MIS.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Intune for education settings.
* Knowledgeable in M365 and Google Workspace for education.
* Skilled in managing Server 2016/2019, including Group Policy, AD, and DNS.
* Experience with Apple School Manager and MDM solutions like Intune, Lightspeed, Meraki, and Apple Configurator is advantageous.
* Competent in managing wireless and network systems.
