1st Line IT support Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join our IT Department. The successful candidate must be truly customer centred. This position will play a key part in supporting us to deliver an exceptional service to our customers, who are at the heart of everything we do.

Role

· Providing first line IT end user support.

· Hardware maintenance of laptop and desktop computers, including monitors and peripherals.

· Operating System deployment from our central deployment system.

· Support with Software installation via our central deployment system.

· Support and maintain of mobile phones, tablets, and laptop data cards.

· Support and maintenance of printers, and keeping the third-party printer support informed of any issues.

· Escalating any issues promptly and efficiently as required.

· Responsible for assignment and recording of all computer equipment.

· New user/promotions/changers/leavers account processing.

· Effectively communicating with our parent Company Krones AG.

Training

Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification:

Your training takes place away from your usual location of work and in one of NowSkills' city centre training venues. If this isn't convenient to you then NowSkills also provide live online, on-demand online and 1:1 with your subject specialist digital tutor that you will have assigned to you.

Upon successful completion you will receive certification of your Level 3 ICT standard.

The successful candidate may be offered full time employment and the chance to progress to a higher level apprenticeship or position in the organisation.
