Business Analyst
Our client is a leading organisation seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their global IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with digital service operations and product management teams to drive impactful changes and enhance their digital platform. Permanent role, hybrid working 2-3 days in the office.
Key responsibilities as the Business Analyst but not limited to:
- Articulate business requirements through functional specifications and Agile user stories.
- Own and optimise the Business Operating Model across functional areas.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for project and operations teams, enhancing business processes.
- Proactively identify and address delivery risks.
- Understand strategic business needs and plans for growth.
- Analyse technical systems and business models to improve IT products and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Source and implement new business technologies.
- Collaborate with architects and SMEs to define technological solutions.
- Produce reports on application development and implementation.
- Conduct A/B tests and analyse data to guide business decisions.
Skills and experience required as the Business Analyst:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Architect.
- Proven experience with standard e-commerce products is essential.
- Familiarity with curating website content and managing CMS platforms.
- Understanding of PIM systems is required; direct working experience is not necessary.
- Knowledge of how different components in e-commerce platforms integrate with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with APIs, database queries, and other technical concepts is important.
- Experience in Business Process Reengineering or Transformation Programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex concepts.
- Full project lifecycle experience with knowledge of various methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of packaged ERP systems, particularly in finance and supply chain (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX preferred).
