Digital Project Manager
Job summary
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) is seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join its Digital Project Management Team. This is an exciting time to join the team as recently the Trust secured investment from the national Frontline Digitisation Programme, which aims to accelerate the uptake of the foundational technology that is needed to underpin digital transformation. Therefore, the Digital Department has an ambitious and transformational portfolio of work, including further development of its core Electronic Patient Record (EPR), Rio, plus the deployment of a new Community Physical Health EPR, EMIS.
The Trust requires staff to have a Trust Site as their base, however, this role offers flexible working and allows for home working. There is a still an expectation that the successful candidate will travel when required but the organisation does utilise Microsoft Teams and Outlook for meetings and communication where appropriate.
Main duties of the job
have extensive experience of managing complex Digital projects using PRINCE2 methodology
have a proven track record in the planning, delivery and close down of projects within a digital setting
have experience of excellent risk management and financial control
have a strong focus on the identification and realisation of benefits throughout the life of the project, through to handover
be an experienced line manager
be adaptable and dynamic, with an ability to work effectively within a changing set of organisational priorities and demands
work autonomously, taking a proactive approach to stakeholder, risk and issue management whilst operating within the framework of a PMO environment
display and promote the Trust's core values in all aspects of their role

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to relevant degree level in business or IT or equivalent experience.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or other equivalent project management qualification.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Corporate Governance in an NHS setting either directly or by working in partnership with the NHS.
- Knowledge of best practise risk and issue management, and experience of appropriate application
Experience
- Experience of successfully managing projects within a programme management system including evidence of change management within timeframes and budget.
- Experience of a project management role within a customer focussed organisation.
- Experience of policy and strategy development and how these impact across the organisation.
