Digital Senior Project Manager

Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) is seeking an experienced Digital Senior Project Manager to join its Digital Project Management Team. This is an exciting time to join the team as recently the Trust secured investment from the national Frontline Digitisation Programme, which aims to accelerate the uptake of the foundational technology that is needed to underpin digital transformation. Therefore, the Digital Department has an ambitious and transformational portfolio of work, including further development of its core Electronic Patient Record (EPR), Rio, plus the deployment of a new Community Physical Health EPR.

Main duties of the job

We're looking for someone with extensive experience of managing complex Digital projects using PRINCE2 methodology, demonstrating excellent risk management and financial control throughout. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of multiple simultaneous projects within the digital portfolio. This can range from large-scale transformational work involving numerous enabler digital systems, to complex infrastructure upgrades for critical systems.

The post holder will also be line managing and mentoring Digital Project Manager(s) and Junior Project Manager(s).

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience to work in a fast paced and diverse environment, where the opportunity to 'make a difference' is ever present.

About us

The Trust requires staff to have a Trust Site as their base, however, this role offers flexible working and allows for home working. There is a still an expectation that the successful candidate will travel when required but the organisation does utilise Microsoft Teams and Outlook for meetings and communication where appropriate.
