Cloud Site Reliability Engineer - Financial Services, London

A global financial services organisation is seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing their cloud infrastructure. The company is a leader in providing secure, efficient, and scalable solutions for managing high-volume financial transactions worldwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the organisation's cloud-hosted environments. You will work on improving observability and telemetry using SRE methodologies, while also implementing disaster recovery processes and security best practices.

Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 + 10% Bonus

Location: Based in London with hybrid working.

To be Considered:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer, with strong operational expertise in AWS cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and experience with CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python.
  • Experience in applying SRE methodologies to optimise service levels and manage operational risks.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
