Reporting to a senior project manager, your role will be an integral part of a small technical delivery team working collaboratively with key stakeholders and supporting delivery of a wide range of exciting digital projects with our technology services colleagues.

Main duties of the job

You will play a key role in the Projects and Programmes Team within Digital Solutions, undertaking co-ordination and management of requests for projects and support of these projects through the Project Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC).

You will take responsibility for ensuring project files are up to date and auditable; managing PDLC governance and stakeholder meetings including minute and action taking and other administrative duties as required

You will work as part of our multi-professional workforce providing digital solutions.

You will be supported by a senior project manager, a business analyst, technology services colleagues and a head of delivery. You will work within a high performing projects and programmes team.

You will develop effective and valued relationships with colleagues not only in DIT but with Stakeholders across the Trust.

Qualifications

  • Good standard of education to a minimum of GCSE.
  • A willingness to undergo personal development and learn new skills.

Experience

  • Demonstrate strong Organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience of working in a structured project environment.
  • Confident in dealings with directors, managers clinical staff and other stakeholders.
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of project/change management activities or experience of working on a project.
  • MS Office products Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Appreciation of confidentiality.
  • Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable
  • Working in an Acute Trust.
  • Administrative experience.
  • An understanding of Trust/NHS policy and procedure.
  • An understanding of PRINCE2.
