Business Analyst Apprentice (Lichfield District Council)

This apprenticeship role provides the opportunity to apply the practical skills learnt through ongoing studying (Business Analyst Level 4) whilst working within our digital team. Recruitment day will be held on 9 July at Lichfield District Council.

Role

  • Studying for Business Analyst Level 4 qualification. Business analyst / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
  • The documentation of existing and new digital solutions and integrations in line with industry standards
  • Stakeholder management with both internal customers and third-party suppliers to collect requirements
  • Production of wireframes and full Process Design Documents when needed as well as customer experience documentation
  • Support customer testing of all new processes and support the UX team to adapt and change processes to better support customer needs
  • The safe and secure delivery of new and improved digital solutions and system integrations in line with the target dates set out in the Customer and Digital Action Plan
  • Ensuring all solutions are centred around the customer experience as a priority, working with stakeholders to ensure the benefits for the customer are measurable
  • Embrace and promote the values of the organisation and ensure that the highest standards of conduct and behaviour in line with Council's Code of Conduct, including maintaining awareness and taking action wherever necessary to contribute to the safeguarding of vulnerable people
  • Ensure that service provision respect and reflect the needs and diversity of communities residing within the district and decisions are taken with full regard to the Council’s policies on equality and diversity, whilst visibly demonstrating a commitment to the principles, aims and objectives of such
  • Ensure a positive and proactive approach to the management of health and safety across all areas of responsibility

Training

  • Identify your data requirements to improve your business
  • Create data models to illustrate how your data is represented within your business systems
  • Assess costs, benefits and impacts of suggested changes to your business
