Apprentice Engineer
Whilst studying you will work in a team of engineers responsible for developing engineering solutions and concepts for a wide variety of projects including evaluating, selecting and calculating appropriate heavy lifting and transport operations.
Role
- Training alongside some of the best engineers in the business to develop your skills and expertise to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.
- Working with both conventional methodologies and developing new approaches
- Preparing and selecting both existing and renewed engineering statements
- Developing drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents
- Ensuring efficient execution that delivers right first-time results for the customer
Training
- You will work towards the level 3 Engineering Technican Apprenticeship Standard as well as level 2 Foundation Competency.
- Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)
- Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
- Day release at Middlesbrough College.
- Progression onto a higher level apprenticeship (HND).
