IT Support Technician Apprentice

Role

Medhurst Communications have been successfully recruiting and supporting apprentices to kick-start their careers for over 10 years. Medhurst Communications are committed to providing an extensive programme of training to help apprentices to learn how to deliver first-class IT support.

What will my new role involve?

Joining the team as an IT Support Apprentice, you will learn:

  • How to provide IT support on both hardware and software including desktop PCs, mobile devices, audiovisual and networking equipment
  • How to maintain and troubleshoot IT equipment
  • How to identify and resolve technical problems

Training

As an IT Support Apprentice, you will be studying towards a level three ICT Support Technician apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is 22 months in length and will involve ongoing onsite training and mentoring from the Medhurst team combined with 25 days of off-the-job training at the PETA training centre in Cosham.

Career progression will be discussed at regular intervals throughout the apprenticeship.
