Analyst Apprentice

This is an exciting apprenticeship opportunity to be part of the EMEA Loan Servicing team, where you will primarily focus on providing pro-active support to a growing team of Asset Managers, across all aspects as they manage a portfolio of loans/debt facilities and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and timelines in UK & Europe.

Role

Manage multiple deliverables to meet pre-agreed deadlines and deliver a consistently high level of service to internal and external stakeholders, whilst adhering to policies and procedures. 

Meeting commitments, working as part of a team, taking accountability, staying focused under pressure as well as showing the ability to adjust plans to meet changing needs. 

Core Responsibilities: 

Loan Servicing: 

  • Working as part of the primary servicing team on a portfolio of commercial real estate loans
  • Management and accountability of the end-to-end Loan Onboarding process
  • Learn and understand loan portfolios
  • Review of loan documentation
  • Preparation of payments from Lender controlled accounts  
    Collecting and analysing Borrower reports (Rent Rolls, Operating statements, Covenants, etc.)
  • Requesting timely production of invoices ensuring payments are received and accurately recorded/diarised
  • Other duties as assigned  

Transportation

  • Operational coverage of Transportation Servicing and Primary loan servicing 
  • Management and accountability of the end-to-end Loan Onboarding process
  • Learn and understand loan portfolios
  • Reviewing loan documentation
  • Preparation of payments from Lender controlled accounts
  • Requesting timely production of invoices (servicer fees, 3rd party) ensuring payments are received and accurately recorded/diarised
  • Liaise with Loan Admin to ensure exposures are booked correctly and payments recorded as required
  • Support preparation of deal and portfolio reporting to client 

Training

You will work towards the Level 3 Financial Services Administrator Apprenticeship Standard; you can find out more about what the qualification covers here:

Training is delivered by Fitch Learning and is Hybrid.
