Portfolio Advisory Apprentice

An opportunity for a strong analytically minded individual to assist a team managing multiple transaction. You will have the ability to meet deadlines and deliver a high-level service whilst adhering to policies and procedures. This is a great opportunity for anyone that can manage multiple tasks whilst studying towards a level 4 qualification.

Role

  • Assist with the support requirements for a team managing multiple transactions
  • Meet deadlines and deliver a consistent high level of service whilst adhering to policies and procedures
  • Meeting commitments, working independently and as part of a team, taking accountability, staying focused under pressure as well as showing the ability to adjust plans to meet changing needs
  • Working as part of the surveillance teams
  • On-boarding of new deals into system of record
  • Perform on-going loan management from deal closure to maturity
  • Managing withdrawal notices/drawdowns ensuring these are permitted under the facility agreement
  • Collecting, recording and analysing borrower reports (financial statements, covenants etc.)
  • Co-ordinate and minute the monthly Asset Review Meeting with the client
  • Updating and maintaining system of record
  • Assessing de-minimis event driven requests (waivers/amendments/variations) and preparing credit papers for submission to the client for approval
  • Undertake annual portfolio reviews and preparing papers for submission to the client for approval
  • Manage the legal signing process of documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Must be able to adapt quickly and efficiently to client-specific requirements and objectives
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word

Training is delivered by Fitch Learning and is Hybrid.
