Position: HOA/ Enterprise Architect - Tech Architect Coach
Contract Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Remote / Occasional on-site as required

Are you an experienced CTO or Enterprise Architect with a passion for leading and coaching technical teams? We are seeking a seasoned professional to play a dual role-leading major architectural initiatives while coaching and mentoring an internal technical architects who face challenges with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- CTO Experience: Lead as a trusted technical authority while acting as an Enterprise Architect on the tech side, helping to create trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
- Coaching and Leadership: Spend approximately 20% of your time coaching a struggling tech architect, helping them navigate high-level technical discussions and elevate their impact within the organization.
- Architectural Leadership: Spend 80% of your time leading the definition of reference architectures and the tech architecture for key business programs, focusing on applications, infrastructure, data integration, and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure).
- Cross-Disciplinary Guidance: Provide architectural expertise across infrastructure, cloud (AWS and Azure), security, middleware, and API strategy. Assist in defining application and integration architecture strategies, including API development and network infrastructure.
- Middleware/API: Utilize technologies such as webMethods, SAP-based products, Microsoft Integration Services, or SAP Integration Suite to drive technical strategy.
- Tech Architect Oversight: Provide dotted-line leadership for tech architects, defining the integration strategy and aligning it with the company's long-term vision.
Key Skills:
- API strategy and integration
- Network and security architecture
- Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms
- Expertise in network and security architecture design
Team Size and Structure:
- 6 architects (business, ERP, data, tech infrastructure/security)
- Directly support the technical architect responsible for infrastructure and security
- Collaborate with business and ERP architects to ensure alignment with organizational goals
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a HOA or Enterprise Architect with hands-on experience in coaching and technical leadership
- Ability to engage with C-level executives and build credibility across the organization
- Expertise in leading architectural initiatives in SaaS-oriented, third-party-driven environments
- A collaborative leader who can provide coaching while delivering results
