Web Application Development Manager

Our client is looking for Web Applications Development Manager to join their fast-paced and successful company specialising in advanced monitoring systems. We're dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and working on fascinating, cutting-edge applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Development Team: Oversee the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications.
  • Product/Delivery Roadmap: Responsible for defining the product road map and aligning software delivery with changing business needs.
  • Product Backlog and Planning: Manage the product backlog, including task estimation, prioritisation, and planning for releases.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a small development team, providing technical guidance, career development, and support.
  • Project Management: Manage project plans and ensure commitments are met in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Development Manager or similar leadership role in software development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with .NET and C#, or similar languages.
    • Experience with Blazor (Server-Side Rendering, WebAssembly, Progressive Web Apps).
    • Experience with MAUI and MAUI Blazor Hybrid for building cross-platform apps.
    • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
    • Familiarity with NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and building Restful Web Services.
    • Experience with Entity Framework Core, Migrations, and Identity Framework.
    • Knowledge of SignalR, WebSockets, and Protobuf.
    • Experience with databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, or similar.
    • Experience with Docker, Nginx, and deployment to local machines and Linux environments.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems creatively and simply.


Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • UI Libraries: Experience with Radzen Blazor or other UI libraries such as Blazorise or Mud Blazor.
  • RF Experience: Experience in Radio Frequency or related fields.
  • Agile Development: Experience working in Agile development environments using tools like Jira and Git.
