We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our proactive and agile team to assist in meetings, reporting, and stakeholder management for BNSSG ICB's digital portfolio. You will be working closely and effectively with project leads, senior responsible officers and stakeholders across BNSSG.

Main duties of the job
The role requires an ability to develop excellent working relationships, deliver structured meetings and action logs from a broad programme of work. You will support key projects on reporting and work closely with the PMO.
BNSSG ICB has an ambitious digital transformation portfolio, with the aim of delivering our strategic objectives for our population. This role will play a key role in supporting the delivery of this aim through an ability to develop excellent working relationships in order to support key digital projects through their lifecycle, developing project documentation and assisting in key meetings. This role will develop and maintain reporting processes, and work closely with the portfolio management office (PMO).

Job responsibilities
The Programme Support Officer (PSO) is responsible for the following
Providing programme management support for delivery of the BNSSG Digital Strategy
Responsible for supporting projects through the ICBs Design and Gateway control processes and undertaking project tasks as requested by Design leads, or Head of Programme Management Office (PMO). This will include the development of project documentation and reporting and monitoring risks and key milestones across the whole gateway process.
Ensuring that Digital programme management documentation is established, maintained and up to date and that reports and wider programme documentation is high quality and widely accessible to key stakeholders
The PSO will develop and maintain the portfolio governance plan for the delivery of each assignment and in partnership with the PMO track the impacts of each initiative to feedback into improved processes.
Person Specification
Knowledge, Training and Experience
- Professional knowledge acquired to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience in programme or project management.
- High proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and/or other software applications to enable business improvement.
- Information Management & Technology experience and specialist knowledge.
- Proficiency in Benefits Management and/or Benefits Realisation.
- Experience in Requirements Management.
- Experience in managing Design processes.
- Experience in Process Mapping, using Microsoft Visio or other digital tools.
Communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to draft high quality project documentation, present reports and influence stakeholders.
- Must be able to present technical information to non-technical audiences, using a variety of media.
- Experience of building productive relationships with multiple different stakeholders.
Analytical
- Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
- Experience of defining Programme and Project deliverables and benefits and establishing performance monitoring systems and producing evaluation reports.
- Ability to perform, interpret and present statistical analysis.
Planning Skills
- Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly.
- Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes.
Management Skills
- Demonstrated capabilities to manage own workload and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight and often changing timescales.
- Experience of Risk Management Frameworks, Managing Risk and Reporting.
- Experience of setting up and implementing internal management policies or standard operating procedures.
