AACC Development Associate

Job summary

As the AACC development associate (delivery lead) within NHS England's Nursing Directorate, you will have knowledge and management experience of Continuing Healthcare policy and practice and have an understanding of the CYPCC framework, joint funding and FNC.

The post holder will be required to work closely and build relationships with a wide range of NHS CHC and AACC professionals, both at a national and local level, and lead the delivery of the sustainability workstreams working closely with the RDU and ICB leads.

Main duties of the job

To Lead on the workstreams from the Recovery and Sustainability board.

To Support systems to be complaint with digital requirements, Continuing Healthcare Assurance Tool (CHAT) and Patient Level Data Set (PLDS) reporting.

Towork with the national and regional All Age Continuing Care (AACC) teams, regional NHS AACC leads and NHS AACC Teams to ensurethat the projects and deliverables meet sustainability targets whilst maintaining quality of care.

  • 1. Knowledge and understanding of the National Framework(s) for NHS Continuing Healthcare and Children and Young Peoples Continuing Care.
  • 2. Extensive knowledge and experience of leading high-profile projects within a highly political and sensitive environment.
  • 3. Evidence of operating against tight budgetary constraints to achieve efficiencies whilst delivering value for money.
  • 4. Experience of producing reports and briefings at Board level, communicating highly complex information to a wide range of internal and external stake holders.
  • 5. Experience of Quality Assurance principles and processes (i.e. QIA, EQIA).
  • 6. Evidence of Contract/Market Management.
