As a Business Change & Transformation Manager, you will be instrumental in driving change at NHS Resolution. Your role will involve collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders and spearheading the implementation of new business processes as we work to embed new business change and transformation within the organisation.

Your expertise will be crucial in managing change, mitigating resistance, and ensuring the realisation of benefits. This is an opportunity to contribute significantly to our transformation journey.

Main duties of the job

You'll work closely with the Head of CMO and the Senior Business Change and Transformation Lead as well as key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and sustained adoption of changes, including business processes, technology adoption and the peoples change journey.

Your role will be pivotal in reducing risk, minimising disruption, and ensuring benefit realisation.Working closely with multi-skilled teams including project managers, programme managers, and product owners involved in key programmes as well as other colleagues in Claims Management, Communications, HR& OD and across the organisation.

You will also work alongside the Senior Business Change & Transformation Lead to ensure that business readiness criteria are defined and met before changes go live, supporting business leadership by defining strategies to ensure end-user buy-in for change is achieved, and changes are sustained to enable benefit realisation.

As the Business Change and Transformation Manager, youll support the current Change Communications and Engagement Manager with the delivery of the Change Communication and Engagement plans for all change programmes ensuring that the Change Management office is delivering a full range of high-quality communications and engagement activities as part of a communications and engagement mix that includes digital, internal, and external communications, stakeholder engagement, and corporate communications.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential
  • Knowledge and practical experience of a range of project and change improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Good understanding of the challenges faced by the NHS.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of developing communications and engagement plans for the implementation of a large-scale organisational change/transformation programme

Experience

Essential
  • Experience of successfully managing risks and issues within a complex programme environment.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of developing change plans and change impact assessments for large-scale organisational change/transformation programme
  • Experience in making the best use of technologies that support communications
  • Demonstrable communication experience, working with senior level of staff, ideally in the NHS or similar organisation
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver results.
  • Experience of preparing, implementing and measuring effective communications for activities or events; with tangible examples of successful delivery

Qualifications

Essential
  • Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent relevant experience. Change management qualification or equivalent relevant experience of managing significant business & technological change and transformation programmes.
  • Good understanding of a range of project and business improvement methodologies and tools.
