To achieve NICE's strategic transformation ambitions and to continue to support our essential live services, it is crucial that NICE's data assets are managed appropriately and that the processes for developing, maintaining, and publishing guidance can rely on consistent, accurate well-structured data.

This role will be at the heart of ensuring NICE takes an enterprise view of its data assets, that NICE can clearly understand, manage, and use these data assets effectively in line with its strategic ambitions. The role will support the AD - Data Management and Information Architecture, and the rest of the Data Management and Information Architecture team in building data management capabilities at NICE, focusing on business intelligence, data integration and data warehousing to provide good quality data for decision making to all NICE staff.

Main duties of the job

As a Data Architect, you will:

o Be responsible for designing and developing NICE data architecture blueprint in support of NICE business objectives.

o Be responsible for enterprise data model development for master, operational and analytical data.

o Contribute to the definition of the organisation's data strategy and data roadmap to ensure delivery against the business objectives.

o Play a key role in the data governance function at NICE to ensure that data is aligned to NICE business strategy.

o Establish implementation patterns and standards for recording, processing, and sharing data across the systems at NICE in accordance with the agreed data principles and policies.

o Work proactively to ensure the organisation designs technology architecture that considers data, especially master data and data quality.

o Provide advice to agile multidisciplinary delivery teams and oversee the implementation and adherence to data architecture over the full product or service lifecycle.

o Ensure best practice standards and principles are followed for the assessment and development of data models.

  • Master's Degree or equivalent higher education qualification, specifically in a computing, scientific or mathematical subject or equivalent experience.

  • CDMP Fundamentals certification or TOGAF certification or working towards it

Experience

Essential
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of the organisational master data strategy, data analytics strategy, data integration strategy or data strategy.

  • Demonstrated extensive data design experience at the business function or line of business level.

Desirable
  • Demonstrated experience of architecture governance and design assurance processes.

Skills

Essential
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of data modelling, especially for business intelligence and data warehousing, working knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage.
