Salary Range: £75-80k

Our client in Central London is seeking a skilled IT Manager/IT Project Manager to join their team. This role combines hands-on IT support management with strategic IT project oversight, ensuring seamless integration and optimisation of IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Support Management: Oversee the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and coordinate with the cybersecurity consultancy to ensure robust cyber support and compliance. Address and resolve IT support issues promptly, including IT architecture and access controls.
  • Project Management: Lead projects such as transitioning from on-premises to cloud-based servers. Evaluate and manage software and hardware selections to meet company needs and standards. Oversee the selection of a new Property Management System, ensuring secure data migration with minimal business disruption and covering all vulnerabilities during system migrations and implementations.
  • Strategic IT Oversight: Assess and implement third-party advice in line with best practices and strategic objectives. Implement and maintain IT access controls and security protocols. Evaluate and optimise existing portfolio/asset management systems.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external vendors and consultants to ensure high-quality service delivery. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective IT solutions. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with IT service providers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong background in IT support with a proven track record of managing IT issues and systems, including IT architecture and access controls.
  • Proficiency in managing transitions from on-premises to cloud-based environments.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and implement third-party advice effectively.
  • Experience in software and hardware selection and implementation, with expertise in data migration and ensuring minimal business disruption during transitions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with portfolio/asset management systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a similar IT management or IT project management role.
