About the Role

The Head of Integrated Security Solutions is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, optimization, and integration of advanced security systems for a high-profile client with multiple locations. The role involves managing a team, ensuring system security, conducting audits, and implementing proactive maintenance strategies. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential to enhance system efficiency and security for the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Multi-Site Security Network: Ensure seamless integration and consistent performance across multiple client locations.
  • Operational Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and assessments to evaluate safety risks associated with tasks, equipment, and projects.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of Lenel access control systems with other security technologies, including video surveillance, intrusion detection, and biometric authentication.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of door locking mechanisms, strike plates, and door hardware at client sites.
  • System Operations: Oversee the operation and maintenance of Lenel Global and Regional Servers, Milestone & LNVR Servers, HID & BIO readers, and Axis IP surveillance cameras.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor and troubleshoot issues with security systems to maintain functionality and security at client locations.
  • Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement safeguards.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain system manuals, procedures, and incident reports for the client's security systems.
  • Proactive Maintenance: Plan and implement proactive maintenance strategies to prevent downtime and optimize the performance of the security network.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of 5 security engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities for the security engineer team.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation, equipment procurement, and staffing decisions.
  • Vendor Relations: Maintain a positive and productive relationship with Lenel vendors to ensure timely assistance and access to necessary resources for system management and support.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly Master Service Agreement (MSA) reports detailing system performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or vulnerabilities identified.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in security systems management, particularly with Lenel, Milestone, Axis, and HID products.
  • Networking Knowledge: Good understanding of networking, including copper and fiber optics.
  • Leadership Skills: Effective communication and leadership abilities, with experience in supervising teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work well under pressure and solve complex technical issues.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Analytical Approach: Thorough and analytical approach to work.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to achieve SC Clearance.
  • Certification: Holds Lenel Professional and Expert Exams.
