Business Intelligence Manager (Power BI)

I'm looking for a seasoned Power BI professional to lead on the strategic adoption of Power BI reporting across a global organisation, as they kick-off their journey to become truly data-driven.

This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in their office in South-West London, along with the rest of the team.

This role will involve engaging with various senior stakeholders across the organisation to uncover and define data requirements, and translating these into effective Power BI solutions with the support of the Lead Data Engineer and a small team of Power BI Developers.

You will use your expertise to guide the organisation on how exactly best to implement and roll-out these Power BI solutions, how to start centralising their existing data sources and reports, and will strive to improve data literacy across the organisation. This is a chance to make a real impact from day one!

Whilst this is very much a strategic role, you will still be hands-on with Power BI on a day-to-day basis, so we're looking for someone who very much lives and breathes Power BI!

Their data is stored in Azure, and they're committed to using the latest analytics technologies, including Databricks, making this an excellent opportunity for a Power BI professional to take the next-step in their career with a truly forwards thinking company!

Requirements:

  • Experience leading on the adoption / roll-out of Power BI across an organisation
  • Power BI - strong end-to-end Power BI development experience
  • Power Query - strong experience for data transformation
  • DAX - strong experience writing advanced DAX measures
  • SQL - an understanding of SQL databases
  • Any exposure to Databricks would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Benefits:

  • Salary up to sround £80,000 depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 2 additional days leave for volunteering
  • Private healthcare
  • 3% employer pension contribution
  • Flexible working options
