Data Engineer - London - £65,000

I am working with a London based company who specialise in the organisation of large-scale events who are looking to add a Data Engineer to their growing data team. You will join the organisation at a significant point in their data journey as they have redesigned their data platform so they can better deliver data to stakeholders across the business.

In this role you will work alongside the Data Architect, Data Engineers and Data Analyst as part of a close-knit and collaborative team. You will have the opportunity to complete funding training and certifications as you will join a business who are passionate about the development of its people. You will also be encouraged to be involved in the data community with the opportunity to attend conferences and events to broaden your knowledge!

In this role you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of robust data pipelines. Your focus will be around data transformation and ingestion that will ensure data is ready for reporting to meet the needs of business stakeholders. You will also be involved in the ongoing development of the data platform, and this is a key role in the ongoing success of the company's data function!

This is a hybrid role where you will work from a Central London office twice per week, with the other 3 days spent working remotely. These days will be team office days where you join the rest of the team to ensure effective collaboration on projects. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience. There is also a company benefits package which includes:

To be successful in the role you will have.

• Coding experience with both Python and SQL
• Experience creating data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Experience working on the Azure Data Platform
