Azure Data Engineer - London - £85,000

I am working with a digitally driven insurance broker based in London who are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to join their growing cloud data team. They have recently been through a rapid growth period and are now looking to invest within the data function to help the business meet its overall business goals. In this autonomous role you will be responsible for building out the organisations next generation Azure data platform.

You will join a company who have created a supportive and trusting work environment. In this role you will have the opportunity to share your skills and experience with others, whilst working closely with specialists in other areas in order for you to gain exposure to new technologies and tools.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

• Act as lead data engineer on the organisations next-generation data platform project
• Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines
• Ensure the successful integration of internal and external systems
• Work on various data migration projects

This is a hybrid role where you will work from the organisation's office in Central London three times per week, with the other 2 days spent working remotely. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £85,000 per annum depending on experience. There is also a company benefits package which includes unlimited holiday allowance, performance related bonus and private healthcare.

To be successful in this role you will have.

• Strong data warehousing development and maintenance experience, preferably with Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Data Factory experience
• Strong Databricks experience for data transformation
• Snowflake experience would be beneficial
