Data Quality Lead - Peterborough

Job summary

Do you enjoy problem solving and have excellent attention to detail? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Data Quality Lead to support the Data Quality Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional person who can work as part of a team and individually.

This is a busy and varied role and you will bring excellent communication and organisational skills, and in return we will support your continuous professional development within the Digital Team.

Main duties of the job

The job holder will provide RTT & Data Quality Training and Application support to all users of the Trusts Information Systems. As part of this role, you will also be involved in several other functions undertaken by the Data Quality Team including:

o RTT & Data Quality Training on Trust Information Systems

o Power BI report validation

o Creation of eLearning

o IT Service Desk

o Project Assistance

You will be expected to lead in the provision of RTT & Data Quality Training and Support across all North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust Sites. We offer both onsite and remote working opportunities.

Person Specification

Education/Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential
  • Educated to GCSE level standard English Language at Grade A-C or equivalent
Desirable
  • Training Qualification
  • Business Qualification, e.g. NVQ in Business Admin
  • Computer qualifications e.g. Microsoft Office Specialist

Experience

Essential
  • Previous experience in the use of Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and Electronic Patient Records (EPR)
  • Previous experience in an administrative/ customer support role
  • Previous experience of working in a health care setting
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of general office practices
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a training environment
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Previous experience of eLearning creation

  • Can demonstrate a high standard of written and verbal communication

Skills and Abilities

Essential
  • Demonstrates good knowledge and understanding of the 18 weeks pathways (RTT)
  • Good working knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Data Security and Data Quality
  • Knowledge of clinical IT systems
  • Excellent PC skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise own work in conjunction with the Data Quality Team
  • Ability to present information to a variety of audiences
  • High level of accuracy, Strong attention to detail, accuracy with spelling / numeric ability
