ERP Applications Support Analyst *Global travel available

Our client is seeking someone who has ERP implementation experience, you will be responsible for providing first-line support to users, ensuring the smooth daily operations of the existing ERP systems, and assisting in system training and user induction. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring consistent and resilient data platforms to support reporting and efficient operations.

Job Title: ERP Applications Support Analyst

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, flexibility, 7:30am - 4:30pm, Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 1:30pm Friday. 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2:30pm

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000

Hybrid: 1 day working from home, once you pass your probationary period

Location: Whitstable, Kent, your own transport is required due to the location of the business

Travel: The opportunity to travel to other sites globally is available so a Valid passport is required

Annual leave: 25 days

Your duties as an ERP Applications Support Analyst would be to:

  • Provide first-line support for users, including system admin tasks such as login assistance, access & permissions management, and user addition/removal.
  • Support daily operations of the existing ERP systems and perform system diagnostics, including analysing error logs and installing updates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, issues, and resolutions.
  • Assist in system training, user induction, and promote best practises for use.
  • Offer deskside assistance, requiring office presence with some flexibility.
  • Work with business/functional leads to ensure regional ERP systems have consistent and resilient data platforms to support reporting and efficient operations.
  • Support reporting activities as required.
  • Provide cover for 1st response support on IT-related issues when required.

Project & Improvement Work:

  • Gather, document, and manage business requirements and process flow charts.
  • Create guidance and process documentation to support new systems and assist in training staff.
  • Provide hands-on analysis, design, testing, training, implementation, and support utilising prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques.
  • Assist in defining and optimising simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organisation through negotiation and consensus-building.
  • Ensure ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling, and management processes.
  • Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with risk management and change management on projects.
  • Work closely with identified process owners and participate in user and task analysis to maintain a process owner's perspective.
  • Responsible for preparing and supporting the preparation of Functional Designs documents for custom development.
  • Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for Functional, System Verification, and User acceptance testing.
  • Participate in quality management reviews to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
  • Build and maintain client relationships both internally and externally.

Key Competencies:

  • ERP solution expert - ERP implementation experience.
  • Experience of working with Customer service, Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing & warehouse Modules.
  • Knowledge/experience of design to implementation methodologies - with experience gained on ERP implementation projects.
  • Broad IT knowledge - specifically on large type ERP systems and with applications, storage, networks, IT infrastructure.
  • Basic SQL skills to run queries (T-SQL).
  • Excellent Word, Excel, VISIO, Power Point skills, MS Office technologies.

Preferred Competencies:

  • CRM Exposure.
  • SnowFlake experience.
  • BMNP 2.0 or process mapping.
  • Understanding of general project management processes & tools.
