IT Support Apprentice

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a IT systems and Networking - Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship. Duties will include install / uninstall, troubleshoot, data recovery and maintain applications, products and equipment.

Role

  • Escalate incidents to next level support when the solution is unknown or cannot be solved within defined time frames
  • Implementation / Installation and administration / maintenance of IT services with focus on availability, reliability and manageability following Paul Hartmann IT standard processes in coordination with responsible IT management
  • Active contribution to Service Desk Team activities where required and to KB (create documentation where required)
  • Provide support to external customers who use Hartmann’s digital applications
  • Ensure standards of infrastructure hardware and software
  • Support implementation of new and / or improved IT processes following Paul Hartmann IT standards
    Identify, analyse and repair equipment failures, order and replace parts / material as needed

QA’s Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship programme enables the apprentice to:

  • Learn on-premise and cloud-enabled technologies and services
  • Learn technical content that aligns to and is relevant to employers and the market
  • Gain an Azure Fundamentals Qualification and a Microsoft 365 fundamentals qualification
  • Get an introduction to Windows, Linux and PowerShell

Tools and technologies learned: Learners will learn to use Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, AWS, Linux, PowerShell.

90% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
