Senior C#.NET Automation Tester

Role: Remote Senior Automation Tester | 12 months | C#, .NET, Selenium, Gherkin, Nunit, Visual Studio, CI/CD, Azure, SQL, Playwright, Typescript

• Rate: £450 - £570p/d DOE
• Location: Remote
• Duration: 12 months rolling

Experis are working with a Public Sector organisation looking for a Senior Automation Tester who currently holds Active SC Clearance, or is willing to go through it. We are looking for a number of individuals who have Set up Test Automation Frameworks from scratch using C#, who have worked on legacy systems and worked on upgrading and improving testing within a project.

We are also looking for someone who can Champion the testing within the team, who can mentor and train Juniors, and can push modernisation into the project.

Key Skills/Experience

Essential

• 5+ years of Automation Testing/SDET experience.
• C# .NET coding experience - ESSENTIAL
• Experience working on legacy systems is ESSENTIAL
• VB.NET = essential.
• Experience setting up test automation frameworks from scratch using C#.
• Selenium
• Gherkin
• Nunit
• Playwright - modern testing which will be something they are doing more of in the coming months.
• Agile and Git experience.
• Mentorship of Junior Testers.

Desirable:

• Azure cloud experience.
• SC Clearance is desirable.
• Postman
• SQL for Test Data (Desirable)
• Typescript and ideally Angular experience (Desirable)
• Docker
• Azure DevOps

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement automation frameworks from Scratch.
• Create testing strategies and plans.
• Champion quality within the team, drive forward the testing within the project.
• Coordinate and lead test execution.
• Produce test scripts and reports.
• Work directly with stakeholders on the project.
• Mentor Junior Engineers.
