I am sourcing for a client who design and manufacture for networking infrastructure looking for a contractor to support embedded linux development.  

Overview:

• Length: 8 Months

• Location: Cambridge 

• Rate: £500pd

• IR35: Inside

Requirements:

• Embedded Software: C programming on ARM-based microcontrollers, including expertise in board bring-up, device trees, and drivers.

• Linux and Yocto for custom distributions.

• Hardware Interface Debugging such as USB, SPI, and I2C.

• Kernel optimisation and memory and user space management.

• Comms protocols expertise including security considerations.
