Infor LN Application Support Analyst

A Manufacturing client of ours are recruiting an Infor LN Application Support Analyst to join their growing team. This is a newly created fully remote permanent position open to receiving applications across England and Europe providing you are happy to work UK time hours.

This is working Mon -Thurs 8.00am - 5.00pm & Fridays 8.00am - 2.00pm (UK time). This is paying a negotiable salary of £36,000 - £42,000 per annum depending on relevant skills and experience.

This Infor LN Application Support Analyst's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • System Maintenance and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users experiencing issues with the Infor LN ERP system. Diagnose and resolve system errors, performance issues, and data discrepancies in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

  • Configuration and Customization: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to configure and customize the Infor LN ERP system according to business requirements and industry best practices. Implement system enhancements, upgrades, and patches to improve functionality and usability.

  • User Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver user training sessions, workshops, and documentation to educate employees on system functionality, features, and best practices. Empower end-users to maximize their productivity and proficiency in utilizing the ERP system to support business processes.

  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation within the Infor LN ERP system. Recommend and implement solutions to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and drive cost savings across the organization.

  • Data Management and Reporting: Manage data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system by performing regular audits, data cleansing activities, and validation checks. Generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and business trends for informed decision-making.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and supply chain, to understand their requirements and align system capabilities accordingly. Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on ERP-related matters, providing guidance and support to drive business objectives.

Qualifications & Essential experience required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in application support, implementation, and administration of Infor LN ERP system in a manufacturing environment essential.
  • Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems, database management, SQL scripting, and report generation tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Prior experience in the transportation or automotive industry is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant certifications in ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN) or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
