Senior Network Engineer – Remote

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be able to work remotely.

You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network and supporting services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our network meets business objectives to service level agreements.  

You will create Architecture designs, concepts and standards, as well as managing networks costs to budget, working with vendors to drive value, conducting a programme of work and purchasing, configuring and installing various network devices and services!

Senior Network Engineer – Key Skills:

• Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
• Team player with the ability to lead technical projects.
• CCNP or higher certification (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools. Including troubleshooting VPNs.
• Experience of managing enterprise networks for a minimum of 5 years.
• Ideally experienced in Cisco IOS, Palo Alto OS, Aruba, F5 Big IP, Azure cloud networking, HP IMC
