Contract Position

Manchester (Hybrid working)

Great opportunity to work as D365 F&O Delivery Manager for a high profile , well-loved brand within IT Service company, based in Manchester. You will be Working with client and their stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of project, and making sure that commitments made are fulfilled and that projects are delivered to time, quality, and budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor timelines and milestones, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Manage and coordinate software releases, ensuring smooth deployment and rollback procedures as needed.
• Address and resolve issues to maintain release momentum.
• Facilitate clear and regular communication between technical roles and business/policy teams.
• Work with counterparts in the client organisations - work as a team with business outcomes being the core focus.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Implement processes and standards to maintain high-quality development deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lessons learned for future releases.
• Work with the product architect and product manager to form new release plans and curate backlog priorities for delivery

Required Skills:

• Delivery and release management experience.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O experience is necessary - Finance, SCM, and Commerce if possible.
• Knowledge of Azure and integrations is desirable
• Azure DevOps for day to day work
• Agile Methodology - Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Reviews, Daily Standups
• Really proactive person with strong communication skills
• Prioritised Backlog of D365 Developments arising
• Programmes of work being delivered to time, quality, and budget.
• Sprint Planning for delivery
• Release Schedule accommodating D365 Planned Releases and Versions
• Coordinate Delivery and Release with the Testing Manager, Product Manager
