Location:  Remote but UK based
Rate:          £320 - £340 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)

About the Role:
Are you a Product Owner with a background in consultancy for or direct experience within banking, investment, or asset management? Our client, a prominent global fintech company, seeks a dynamic individual to support their Digital Experience Team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of banking or investment systems and a proven record in delivering digital innovation projects specifically within the financial sector. You will play a critical role in refining and executing the product roadmap, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to meaningful digital transformation in banking and finance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Backlog Ownership: Oversee and refine the product backlog to ensure alignment with strategic goals, specifically within the context of banking or investment systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from consultancy or financial institutions to analyze requirements, document user stories, and shape the product roadmap.
  • Agile Scrum Management: Lead and manage Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring smooth delivery cycles.
  • Digital Product Demos: Conduct live demos and presentations of digital financial products for stakeholders at various technical levels.
  • Full Product Lifecycle Management: Take ownership of features from initial analysis to post-launch, focusing on products that enhance banking, investment, or asset management services.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • 3+ years as a Product Owner, ideally within consultancy firms, banks, or investment management institutions.
  • Experience in Banking & Investment: Proven background in digital innovation projects in the banking, investment, or asset management sectors.
  • Strong expertise in managing digital products across web and mobile platforms, focused on financial services.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence and a solid understanding of the full product lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders in consultancy or financial environments.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities relevant to financial and investment systems.
