APPRENTICE ADMINISTRATION CLERK
An exciting and new opportunity to join the administration team at Ramage Transport. You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard. You will be handling and responding to all correspondence including phone calls, emails, letters.
Role
- Verify and process Proof of Delivery documents for all completed deliveries
- Ensure all PODs are accurately scanned, indexed, and filed in the system
- Maintain organised and up-to-date records of all delivery documents
- Input and update delivery information in the database with precision
- Cross-check delivery details for accuracy and completeness
- Resolve any discrepancies found in delivery documentation
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service to gather and verify delivery information
- Respond to enquiries from customers and internal departments regarding delivery status and POD documentation
- Communicate any issues or delays in documentation processing to relevant parties promptly
- Organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Training
You will be studying a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard over an 18-month period. This is a fully work based programme you will get allocated time to complete your apprenticeship work and also receive regular meetings with your training provider.
The role could progress into various departments for example, taking responsibility for employee training opportunities (learning and development), office manager or progressing moreover in the transport department. The candidate could pursue a long career with the organisation. Organisation also seeking a candidate who will stay long term. Harry Crudace their current apprentice is testament to this.
