IT Technical Sales Representative Apprentice (River Recordings Ltd)
Role
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Research potential clients and identify new business opportunities.
Client Meetings and Relationship Building:
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and concerns.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Product Presentation and Demonstrations:
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits to potential clients.
Sales and Negotiation:
○ Negotiate terms and close sales deals to achieve sales targets.
○ Handle complaints or objections to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
Market Research and Feedback:
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and support overall business objectives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
Exhibitions and Conferences:
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and other events to promote products and services.
Stock Management:
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to manage product availability and delivery schedules.
Administrative Tasks:
- Perform web checking to ensure up-to-date information on products and services.
- Conduct data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of sales and client interactions.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product support.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Web Checking and Data Entry:
- Regularly check and update the company’s web listings and product information.
- Perform data entry tasks to ensure all sales and client data is accurately recorded and maintained.
Training
Firebrand’s sector-leading Level 3 IT Technical Salesperson Apprenticeship qualification (L3ITTS) trains apprentices to sell their business’ technical products and services. Apprentices will develop approaches to maintaining good customer relations and winning new business through a thorough understanding of existing and emerging technologies.
Firebrands course is delivered either Online (online live instructor led), or face to face in the classroom environment (your choice). Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Learning Mentors (LMs) and world-leading trainers prepare apprentices to work across multiple sectors.
Completion of this apprenticeship will provide learners with the following world class vendor certifications in addition to the IT Technical Sales apprenticeship:
