They are looking to recruit a Senior Pega Developer to join them on exciting and important work that is underway.

Their organisation specialises in pioneering solutions within National Security & Defence, emphasising Secure by Design methodologies. As a valued member of their team, you'll contribute to cutting-edge projects, creating highly secure and high-performance software systems.

Essential Skills and Qualities:

  • Either holds or has recently held government security clearance already or is suitable for and willing to go through the vetting process (suitability would include an absence of a serious criminal record, a right to work and live in UK and, preferably, a record of 5 years’ UK residency).

They are looking for a person with:

  • Design, development and maintenance experience of Pega-based platforms and applications.
  • Pega System Architect or Pega Senior System Architect certification (v8 preferred).
  • Hands-on project experience using Pega Customer Service Framework (with or without an industry focus).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high levels of customer empathy.
  • Hands-on experience using Pega’s OOTB debugging/analysis tools such as Tracer, Clipboard and PAL.
  • Background in: Object-Oriented Programming, such as Java, Ruby or Python; or Process Architecture; or other STEM areas (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and their relationship to the Pega Platform – including how to insert and query records in a performant manner.
  • Aptitude towards leading and run smaller streams of work within a defined project structure.
