We’re working with a leading security solutions company who are looking to onboard an NOC engineer to their team based in Bolton. This requirement is testament to their success over the past few years, and is a real opportunity to work with some exciting clients at the cutting edge of Cyber Security.

As an employer, they are very keen to retain and train their staff and so provide opportunities to work towards prestigious industry certifications across the security spectrum.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum of one year providing security solutions in a technical support role at a high technical level, or a graduate in an IT-related subject.
• Familiarity with networking equipment functions (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and wide area communications).
• Awareness of products from vendors like Check Point, Juniper, Cisco, Extreme, Aruba, Exinda.
• Intermediate understanding of Layer 1, 2 and 3 Protocols
• Knowledge of IT security is advantageous.

• • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask between simultaneous events, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, tenacious, highly self-motivated, and committed to achieving goals.
