Senior Engineer (React & TypeScript)

Senior Full Stack Engineer (Frontend-focus with React & TypeScript) | Weekly visits to Central Bristol | Salary Range: £50-80k

These opportunities don't come around too often - I'm working with a start-up who are supporting the UK with its goal of becoming Net Zero by 2050!

The work you'll do will genuinely help save the planet!

They're currently a team of six and want to add a frontend-focussed engineer to their existing team of amazing engineers in Bristol. Throughout the rest of 2024 they want to make their initial suite of products as good as they possibly can be, so you'll be working on lots of new projects & new feature development.

You'll be passionate about frontend development with React & TypeScript, but ideally some backend capabilities in Node.js or Python (it's actually Python that they use on the backend) - think of it as a 80:20 split in favour of the frontend.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who either wants to make an environmental impact via reducing Carbon Emissions or someone who's excited by joining an early-stage start-up - or both!

What you'll need

• A focus on frontend development
• Strong experience with React & TypeScript
• Some backend development experience with either Python or Node.js
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced & ever-changing environment
• A passion for environmentally-focussed products or developing clever solutions for society-wide issues
• Highly collaborative and enthusiastic about working in the office alongside amazing colleagues once a week in Bristol!
