Our international client is looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join their platform team on a fully remote basis - candidates can be based anywhere in the UK or Ireland (only UK or EU citizens can be considered). This urgent role focuses on end-to-end platform deployment, customer engagement, and technical strategy.

About the Role:

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for the full deployment of the client's Platform, the management of customer relations and technical approach.

Required:

Technical skills

- 5+ years experience in public cloud settings, particularly with AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

- Strong understanding of cloud/hybrid networking concepts

- 3+ years hands-on experience working with Kubernetes or similar platforms

- Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), particularly Terraform for automated deployments

- Application Architecture with a strong understanding of OS, databases, messaging queues, caching, etc

- Strong understanding of cloud/hybrid networking concepts

Communication & Customer Engagement

- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences

- Proven experience managing customer relationships in technical consulting

- Outstanding organisational and technical project management skills, managing multiple projects effectively.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or related field

- 5+ years experience of working in customer-facing technical roles, with a good focus on cloud consulting and deployments

Ideal skills

- Knowledge of cloud security best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)

- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments

- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
