AV Digital Media & Facilities Support
Job summary
The purpose of this role is to provide support for the Audio Visual, Digital Media services & facilities provided by the Technical & Facilities team for the users of the STRIVE Academic Centres.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the Technical & Facilities team to help provide basic level support in form of basic level video editing, photography, & design. When required, assist users by setting up audio-visual equipment; demonstrate how to use audio-visual equipment and basic fault finding when equipment malfunctions. When required, provide an initial response to fault calls resolving issues if possible, escalating if not.
Provide basic video conference support to Trust users, setting up and initiating calls, fault finding and escalating to Technical & Facilities Lead or IT. Regularly update digital signage screens.
The post holder will carry out general duties within the STRIVE Academic Centres.

Person Specification
Knowledge
- Good basic computer skills including how to connect computers to screens & fault finding.
- Ability to problem solve using own initiative.
Experience
- Experience of fault finding or problem solving.
- Experience of using Digital media.
- Experience of providing guidance & support to all levels of staff.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or above qualification in AV, media or similar technical qualification.
