Site Services Liaison Officer

Job summary

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and organised person to join our Administration Team as a Site Services Liaison Officer.

As the Site Services Liaison Officer, act as liaison between the on-site teams and off-site Estates and Facilities Teams as well as External Contractors. Organising and coordinating routine and reactive works as required. You will also assist the Reception team with maintaining security of the site. You must therefore possess a calm and confident approach.

A good knowledge of computers is essential as you will be required to use many different programs and systems to fulfil your duties. You must be able to work on your own initiative and be part of a flexible team.

In addition to the above, you must have good customer service skills in order to actively support the wider administrative function of the services.

Set in picturesque grounds, Leigh House is undergoing extensive renovations which will see the development of two new services which will offer staff a flexible and diverse way of working with our young people, as well as a wealth of development opportunities. There is ample free parking space and easy access to Winchester Town Centre.

Main duties of the job

To act as liaison between the on-site teams and off-site Estates and Facilities Teams/External Contractors. Organising and co-ordinating routine and reactive works as required.

To assist the Administration Manager and Reception staff in maintaining physical and procedural security of the reception and immediate non-clinical areas.

To support effective and efficient functioning of the safety and security systems managed from the reception areas, to include; key management systems, emergency pagers / alarms, radios, mobile telephones, lone worker devices and CCTV.

To support staff in maintaining physical and procedural security throughout the services.

To support the development, review and maintenance of security policies and procedures relating to estates & facilities, and external contractors.

Qualifications

Essential
  • *GCSE Mathematics (Grade A-C / 4-8)
  • *GCSE English (Grade A-C / 4-8)
  • *NVQ 2 & 3 in Administration or Customer Care or Equivalent significant experience/willing to work towards the qualification
  • *ECDL/Level 3 IT qualification or significantly experienced with MS Office/Telephony systems
