Head of Data Analytics

Head of Analytics - London, Hybrid

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for data and analytics? We're looking for a Head of Data Analytics to spearhead the Analytics department for our client, a pioneering intelligence technology company. They are experts in identifying and understanding their clients' customers using live, accurate data from hundreds of sources.

• Salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 per year, based on experience
• Hybrid working model, balancing remote and in-office work
• An early finish on Fridays

The Role:

As the Head of Data Analytics, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing a talented team of analysts, nurturing their skills and guiding their growth
• Playing a dual role as both an individual contributor and team facilitator, with your opinion and engagement on strategy being actively encouraged
• Leading on client projects, presenting findings clearly and accessibly to colleagues, stakeholders, and clients
• Influencing the future data and technology landscape of the company, innovating and implementing data, analytics, and reporting structures
• Supporting the prioritisation of tasks and acting as a guide and point of escalation when challenges arise
• Collaborating across the Data, Account Management, and Engineering teams to identify projects or opportunities to improve workflows and increase revenue
• Overseeing the project management of a new dashboard product that appends the company's rich database to client CRM data

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Head of Data Analytics role should possess:

• 6-10 years' experience working on data analytics projects
• Experience working in small businesses, scale-up or start-up environments
• A strong mathematical or statistical foundation with a degree in Mathematics or a STEM subject
• Senior/Lead experience managing a small team
• Proven track record of implementing results within businesses
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with querying databases and data cleansing
• Experience working with large data sets and transforming this data to produce reports, dashboards, and creating data analytics workflows
• Strong dashboarding skills, with experience using Power BI, Tableau or another data visualisation tool
