Company Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity for a new L2 Desktop Technician to join our client who are a Global Managed Service Provider. The successful candidate will be based in their office in Munch Germany up to three days a week.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Single point of contact for end user to receive support and maintenance for computers and network system
2. Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PC, terminals, printers and scanners) to ensure optimal Workstation performance
3. Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to help minimise downtime
4. Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment
5. Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with
6. Desktop computing equipment and software.
7. Ensure desktop computers InterconnecT seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file Servers, email Servers, computer
8. Conferencing systems, application Servers and administrative systems.
9. Works to purchase hardware and software.
10. Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases
11. Orders computer supplies
12. Maintain telephone system

Required Skills/Experience

1. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or Networks
2. Experience in a technical support position
3. Industry certifications, this can include A+, N+ and/or MCSE/CCNA
4. Analytical and problem solving skills
5. Fluent Germany communication (both verbal and written) skills
6. Superior customer service and support skills
